C TRAN Launches the Ride C Tran app

On October 8, 2019 Chemung County announced that First Transit, its public transit operator, released the free Ride C Tran app.

The app is available for all fixed routes. It allows riders to:

• easily track buses using a smartphone
• locate the nearest stop
• look for route schedules
• plan trips

Passengers that use Access Chemung can see the location of their ride on the app. The dispatch department can provide the Dial-A-Ride # they are assigned to.

The Ride C Tran app is available on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
